These terms apply to classes, events and bookings with Western Stomp Co., a trading name of Vos Entertainment PTY LTD (ABN 55 346 174 303). All prices shown include GST.

Classes

  • No booking is required for our regular weekly classes — come along and pay at the door, cash or card. The kids' class is the exception and requires a booking.
  • Class prices are $10 for one class, $18 for two, $26 for three and $34 for four. The kids' class is $5.
  • Your first class is free. This applies once, per person.
  • Class times, levels and venues can change. We'll give as much notice as we can through our mailing list, text alerts and social media.
  • If we cancel a class you've already paid for, you won't be charged, or we'll credit you for another class.

Events

  • Ticketed events are sold through the ticketing provider named on the event listing, and that provider's terms apply to your purchase.
  • Entry prices and conditions for venue events are set by the venue.
  • Events can be cancelled or rescheduled because of weather, venue issues or circumstances outside our control. Where an event we've ticketed is cancelled outright, we'll refund the ticket price.

Private bookings

  • A booking is confirmed when we've provided a written quote, you've accepted it, and any deposit has been paid.
  • Deposits secure your date and are generally non-refundable, as we turn away other work to hold it.
  • Final payment is due by the date stated on your invoice.
  • If you cancel, we'll do our best to be fair about it. Cancellations close to the event may still incur the full fee where we can't rebook the date.
  • You're responsible for providing a safe, suitable space to dance in, and for any sound equipment agreed as being supplied by your venue.

Taking part safely

  • Line dancing is physical activity. Take part within your own limits, and check with your doctor first if you have a health condition that might be affected.
  • Tell an instructor about any injury or condition we should know about.
  • Please look after your own belongings — we can't take responsibility for lost or damaged property.
  • We want everyone to feel welcome. We may ask anyone behaving in a way that makes others uncomfortable to leave, without a refund.

Children

Children are welcome at our kids' class and at most events. Children attending must be supervised by a parent or guardian unless they're enrolled in a class run for their age group.

Photos and video

We photograph and film at classes and events. By attending, you accept that you may appear in that material. If you'd rather not, let an instructor know and we'll work around you.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
