Western Stomp Co. is a trading name of Vos Entertainment PTY LTD (ABN 55 346 174 303). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number, when you send us a message or an event enquiry.
• Event details — information you give us about an event you're planning, such as the date, venue, guest numbers and requirements.
• Mailing list details — your name and email address, if you sign up for our events calendar.
• Website analytics — anonymous information about how people use this site, such as pages visited and approximate location. This is not used to identify you.

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Payments at classes and events are processed by Square, and their own privacy terms apply to that information.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and quote for your event
• To deliver the classes, events and services you've booked
• To send you our events calendar, if you've asked for it
• To meet our tax and record-keeping obligations

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use service providers who handle data on our behalf — our website host, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor. They may store data outside Australia. We only give them what they need to do their job for us.

We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as we need them for the booking and for the seven years required for tax records. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email we send. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@westernstomp.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Photos and video

Class passes and check-ins

If you buy a class pass, we keep your name, and your email address and mobile number if you give them to us, so we can send you your pass and get in touch about it. Each time your pass is scanned at the door we record that you attended, which class it was, and the date. We use that to keep your remaining classes correct and to see how busy our classes are.

We don't sell this information or share it with anyone outside Western Stomp Co. Your pass link shows only your own pass. If you'd like us to delete your details, email info@westernstomp.com.au and we'll remove them, though we may need to keep a record of payments for as long as the tax rules require.

We often photograph and film our classes and events for social media and this website. If you'd rather not appear, tell an instructor on the night and we'll make sure you don't. If a photo of you is already published and you want it removed, email us and we'll take it down.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies — enough to remember basic preferences and to gather anonymous analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@westernstomp.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
